The Parliament Magazine’s MEP Awards aim to acknowledge and celebrate the work MEPs have devoted to various policy areas over the past year.

This year we have chosen to highlight the work of MEPs in 10 categories.

Nominations are now open and close on 20th July 2007.

Who can nominate?

Non-governmental organisations and not for profit organisations across Europe.

The Shortlist

The three MEPs with the most nominations in each category will be selected to the shortlist. The Guide to the Nominees with information on each selected MEP will be distributed in The Parliament Magazine in September.

Who Votes?

The vote for the winner is open to all MEPs. The voting will start on 3rd September and close on the 21st September 2007.

The Event

The Awards Ceremony will take place at the Brussels Renaissance Hotel on Tuesday 9th October 2007. The winners will receive their awards in front of guests from Brussels and beyond.
